Cossacks: The Art of War is a historical real-time strategy game, based on European history of the XVII-XVIII centuries.
This period got famed as an epoch of continuous wars and battles - and these are the focus of attention in the game.

30 Years' War, 7 Years' War, War of the Austrian Succession, Russo-Turkish Wars, English Civil War, Turkish expansion in Europe, Ukrainian Liberation War, Northern War, Polish-Russian war and much more awaits you in this add-on to original Cossacks.

Cossacks: The Art of War is the add-on of Cossacks: European Wars and takes place in the late 18th century. Among multiple features, the add-on provides a map editor recording battles and replaying them. The multiplayer option is featured as well, which is enhanced by the official Cossacks ranking list, where players can obtain titles of honor and view details on battles where they took part in themselves.

The Art of War is the first standalone expansion pack. Like the original Cossacks, the game is set in the 17th and 18th centuries, and 8000 units can be controlled. Cossacks: Art of War adds 5 new campaigns, 2 new nations (namely Denmark and Bavaria) , a map editor, and 16 times larger maps with new terrains. Both new nations possess a 18th century Musketeer unit, which have different attributes.
